Rest In Peace Laurin

GREENSBORO — Laurin Davis Keller left this world at the age of 31 to be with    his Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 18, 2007. He died at home due to complications of epilepsy.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Christ Lutheran Church on   Lawndale and Pisgah Church Road.                                                                               

Laurin was a lifelong resident of Greensboro. He graduated from Page High School in 1994 and Appalachian State University in 1999 with a BS in Political Science. He  was employed at Alltel at Pisgah Church Road as a sales associate and D & M  Staffing as a security guard. He was a long time member of Christ Lutheran  Church. An avid chess player, he had attained the rank of 1700.                                                                       

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rachel and James Fredrick Settle of Browns Summit and Herman Keller of Placentia, California.                                                                                                                        

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, David and Audrey Keller; brother, Joel Keller of Raleigh; his fiancé, Ann Bozeman of Burlington; his grandmother, Joan Bowen of Union, Illinois; many relatives and friends, and his dog, Miles Davis. Ann and Laurin were to be married on Sept. 29, 2007.         

Family visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at Forbis and Dick Funeral Home on North      Elm.
